Nestled in the historical Hofkwartier in the center of the city, this charming boutique hotel exceeded all my expectations. The two spacious and luxurious guest rooms on the 1st floor of a monumental building from 1906 offered a perfect blend of Dutch design aesthetics and modern comfort.The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the daily extended fresh breakfast served in the terrace and lounge area, overlooking the Noordeinde Palace and the Royal Gardens. Each morning, we were greeted with a sumptuous spread of freshly baked goods, smoothies, and homemade delights that truly set the tone for a wonderful day of exploring the city.The hosts, Marc and Abraham, were not just innkeepers but true friends during our stay. Their warmth, helpful recommendations, and engaging conversations made us feel right at home. The personalized touches, like welcome drinks and carefully chosen toiletries, added an extra layer of comfort to our stay. The proximity to restaurants and shops made it convenient for us to immerse ourselves in the vibrant local culture. The convenient location of Bacán Bed & Breakfast made it easy for us to explore The Hague's top attractions, including the Peace Palace, Mauritshuis, Escher Museum, and Binnenhof.
